The APDS Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) is a 12-week education, intervention and treatment program for male and female clients with substance use disorders (SUD). Clients are required to attend three 3-hour Lecture/Group sessions per week, which are designed to stimulate thought, challenge their perceptions, offer culturally relevant solutions and develop positive self-images. Clients are required to attend a minimum of five (5) individual sessions per 3 12-week episode with their primary counselor and submit to random urine screens. At the completion of their 12-week treatment episode, clients are required to complete a Relapse Prevention Plan and an Anonymous Client Satisfaction Survey Form.
